Alentejo Incubators Network
ADRAL leads the Alentejo Incubators Network. As of today, they are responsible for the management of 4 incubators in the Alentejo Region, but in the nearby future this number will be bigger. This being said, this network is available for startups from Alentejo, Portugal, and all over the world.
ADRAL’s Alentejo Incubators Network is certified as a member of the Portuguese National Incubators Network (Rede Nacional de Incubadoras), as well as the StartUp Visa Program, which allows entrepreneurs from outside the Schengen Space to develop their projects, and also the Turismo de Portugal FIT – Fostering Innovation in Tourism.
Évoratech – Évora Technology Based Business Incubator
ÉvoraTech – Évora Technology Based Business Incubator is managed by ADRAL – Agência de Desenvolvimento Regional do Alentejo (Alentejo Regional Development Agency) in close collaboration with the Municipality of Évora, the owner of the building. It was founded on November 27, 2014 under the Blue Corridor Urban Network for Competitiveness and Innovation, created with the purpose of “stimulating technology-based economic activity by supporting the constitution, installation and development of ideas from entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses in their embryonic and consolidation phase, providing them with physical and technical conditions for their growth and reaffirmation in the territory”.
Since its inauguration, ADRAL has been implementing a strategy for ÉvoraTech to promote the turnover of incubated businesses, in order to attract new projects, startups, and companies that intend to install themselves not only in the Incubator, but also in the Alentejo region. It has an area of 705 m2, providing individual areas and a set of common services with the aim of promoting and welcoming ideas, projects and companies, especially those that show an innovative and technologically-based nature, with a significant growth potential.
ÉvoraTech seeks to maintain its involvement with multiple entities that are working together to affirm this project that aims at boosting innovation and entrepreneurship, with the goal to carry out projects related to research and will benefit the growth of the region’s business reality. During the year of 2022, ÉvoraTech and the entire regional entrepreneurial ecosystem will play a central role in the developing projects and will be seen as a resource for leveraging the intervention capacity of the entities involved.
ÉvoraTech’s main goal is to train new entrepreneurs so that, through strategic support during the first years of the enterprise, they have the necessary preparation to remain in the competitive market. In addition, it aims at guaranteeing the entrepreneurial spirit, supporting the introduction of new products, processes and services in the market, facilitating access to technology, as well as reducing the failure rate of new micro and small businesses, providing incubation services or consultancy, within the scope of incentive measures and other existing support.

Santiago do Cacém Business Support Center
The Alentejo Regional Development Agency (ADRAL) and the Municipality of Santiago do Cacém promoted the certification of the Santiago do Cacém Business Support Center (CAESC), in Vila Nova de Santo André, located in the Municipal Office. Within the scope of the national strategy for entrepreneurship, called StartUP Portugal, the project included the Incubation Voucher, which aims to boost entrepreneurial capacity and foster the conditions for the acceleration and success of new companies, supporting the development of business through hiring Incubation services from previously accredited incubators.
The incubator has two rooms for entrepreneurs and micro-enterprises in a cowork regime and an individual room, with all the necessary equipment for the start of the activity of future companies, namely, laptops, workstation, photocopier, printer, internet, etc. In addition, companies will be able to benefit from the administrative and technical support of ADRAL’s employees.
Nisa New Business Incubator
The creation of the Nisa New Business Incubator was based on the guidelines defined by the Municipality, aiming to respond to the requests made by multiple economic agents for the implementation and development of their businesses and companies.
It is defined as a business incubation infrastructure, aimed at stimulating entrepreneurial activity in the Municipality, providing, in the same physical space, individualized areas and common services, with the aim of promoting and welcoming entrepreneurs and businesses with innovative projects and ideas, based on technology, with high growth potential.
The Nisa New Business Incubator aims to boost economic activity by supporting the constitution, installation and development of ideas for individual entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses in their embryonic and consolidation phases, providing them with physical and technical conditions for the its growth and affirmation in the territory, as well as encouraging companies already established to develop new products or services.
Alcácer do Sal Business Center
The Alcácer do Sal Business Center aims to boost economic activity by supporting the creation, installation and development of ideas by entrepreneurs, micro and small companies in their embryonic and consolidation phase, providing them physical and technical conditions for their growth and reaffirmation in the territory, as well as encouraging companies already established to develop new products or services. It provides coworking spaces, with the aim of promoting and welcoming entrepreneurs and companies with innovative projects and ideas and with high growth potential. The strategic management of the CNA is ensured by ADRAL – Alentejo Regional Development Agency, in partnership with the Municipality of Alcácer do Sal.
