Sines Tech highlighted at CC-Submarine Summit 2022
aicep Global Parques attended the CC-Submarine Summit 2022, due to being the Digital leader of the Invest in Alentejo initiative, promoted by ADRAL.
The CC-Submarine Summit 2022, taking place in Lisbon, is the specialized annual summit organized by Carrier Community (CC), which brings together key global players belonging to the submarine cable sector from Africa, Latin America, Europe and other parts of the world.
During the Summit, industry experts addressed and discussed the latest market trends related to the underwater ecosystem, sharing knowledge, networking and presenting solutions.
Filipe Costa, CEO of aicep Global Parks, presented Sines Tech – Innovation & Data Center Hub – the new technology pole in Sines for the installation of cable mooring stations and data centers at the webinar “The role of Datacenters to meet Future demand” at the CC-Submarine Summit 2022. The Invest in Alentejo initiative is co-financed by the Collective Action Support System (SIAC), included in the Alentejo Regional Operational Program 2014-2020 (ALENTEJO 2020). Visa to implement concrete actions already envisaged in the execution plan signed with ADRAL and other strategic partners, to achieve objectives such as: increasing the international recognition of strategic sectors Alentejo; promote regional potential internationally through its infrastructures; strengthen economic sectors internationally existing in Alentejo; increase the processes of internationalization of companies; and increase the international recognition of products and services, among others.
